Preparing for Worship - June 13, 2021

Jesus Christ calls people to come to him. He called his disciples to come follow him, he called children to come to him and not be hindered, he called Peter out of the boat and onto the waves, and the weary and the burdened he called to himself that they might find rest for their souls. Jesus calls us to come. And as we come into worship today, we want to hear the call of Jesus once again, and to respond to him in worship as we sing He Is and Jesus I Come.

Following a brief welcome and prayer, we once again welcome Stewart Pattison as he continues preaching from the gospel of Mark. This week, Stewart will explore Jesus’ miracle of the feeding of the five thousand found in Mark 6:30-44 with a message entitled Send Them Away! We’ll respond together once again in worship of the Lord Jesus as we sing Turn Your Eyes. To close our service we will pray for our Giving, and be sent out with some brief Announcements and a Benediction. As always, tell us how we can be praying for you. Send your prayer requests to: prayer@meadowsfamily.org.

Will you find a few quiet minutes to read and prayerfully reflect on the Scripture and songs above? Prepare your heart and mind to gather for worship this Sunday. You can find this week’s song playlist on Spotify and YouTube. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website at meadowsfamily.org/sundays.

I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday!
