After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
Revelation 7:9-12
John’s vision in the book of Revelation paints an awe-inspiring image of worship before the throne of God. An innumerable multitude of worshipers from every nation, tribe, along with the creatures of heaven, all crying out before the Lord in full-throated praise.
Wouldn’t you like to join in that worship service?
Here’s the thing: every Sunday, you can.
No, we aren’t present in that scene just yet. We are still here in the “not yet” of our current time and place. But the fact remains that we have indeed been clothed in the righteousness of Christ, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. And when we gather to worship, we are joining with the everlasting chorus of saints who have gone before us, proclaiming blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might to our God.
With this eternal perspective in mind, we count it a great privilege to gather in worship as we sing, read Scripture, and pray to our God and King. For our families with youngsters we have childcare available throughout the service for ages 3 and under. We also feature a special Kids’ Time and activity bags during the service for all young worshipers. In this week’s sermon, Pastor Michael Mackens will preach the final message in our Kingdom Come series as he focuses on Christ’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20.
We hope you’ll join us in worship this week! You can prepare for gathered worship by finding a few moments to simply engage with the Scripture and songs for this week. Ask God to use our time together to draw you closer to Him, to build up His church, and to glorify Himself. This week’s song playlist can be found on Spotify and YouTube. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website.
See you soon!
