Joy in the Lord

A few weeks ago,  we took the girls to their first movie theater feature film.  They were so excited  and told every person that we ran into about the experience.  The JOY that they experienced was infectious. 

I am currently studying John and was reminded of the JOY of the Samaritan woman after she meets Jesus.  Like my girls, the woman ran "to the town and said to the people, 'come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.  Could this be the Messiah?'" 

The Samaritan woman also left behind her water jug to do that.  What do you need to leave behind to tell others about Jesus? 

It caused me to evaluate my own JOY and if I am overflowing with the JOY of the Lord.  What would it look like if we all shared the JOY we have in Christ with those around us?
