So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Psalm 90:12
As we turn the page on yet another year and begin to look ahead at yet another new one, these words from the Psalms are a great reminder for us all…. Our days are numbered. And the truth is, only God knows what that number is.
The point here is that we would do well to recognize our finitude and to wisely use the days that God graciously gives to us.
And worshiping our God, the one who holds our days in hands, is perhaps the best use of our time that there is!
Join us this Sunday as we end the year and look ahead to the next in worship. For families with youngsters we have childcare available throughout the service for ages 3 and under. We also feature a special Kids’ Time and activity bags during the service for all young worshipers. In this week’s sermon, Mark Barnes will preach from Psalm 90:12, focusing on the exhortation to “Teach Us to Number Our Days.”
You can take the time to prepare for worship by engaging with the Scripture and songs for this week. Ask God to use our time together to draw you closer to Him, to build up His church, and to glorify Himself. This week’s song playlist can be found on Spotify and YouTube. Everything you need to know about our Sunday worship services can be found on our website.
I look forward to worshiping with you!
Mark
