Praise the Lord, all nations!

    Extol him, all peoples!

For great is his steadfast love toward us,

    and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Psalm 117:1-2

When you do a search for word “faithful” you’ll find there are many definitions to choose from:

  • steadfast in affection or allegiance
  • firm in adherence to promises 
  • true to one's word
  • reliable and consistent
  • having lasting loyalty and trustworthiness in relationships

All of these definitions help to paint a complete picture of faithfulness. They also describe the faithful character of our God. God is true to his word. He keeps his promises. He is a constant companion who will never leave us or forsake us. This is our God - he is faithful.

Psalm 117 calls us into worship of our faithful God, exhorting us to give him praise for exactly this reason. “For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.” 

Join us this week as we experience and celebrate the faithfulness of God together in our worship. For our families with youngsters we have childcare available throughout the service for ages 3 and under. We also feature a special Kids’ Time and activity bags during the service for all young worshipers. In this week’s sermon, Pastor Michael will continue our series on The Fruitful Life with an examination of the Spiritual fruit of FAITHFULNESS. As we do at the beginning of each month, we will also share in Communion together as we remember the sacrifice of our faithful and true Savior, Jesus Christ.

Take the time to prepare for worship by engaging with the Scripture and songs for this week.
